The CT177
Collect it
your way.
Auction cars are often sold as-is: flat batteries, no rego, sometimes no way of driving them at all. With a hydraulic tilt deck and a 3,000 kg hand winch, the CT177 lets you load a non-runner with control instead of pushing it up ramps.
Most pickups are done well inside the 6-hour rate ($120). If the collection window is tight or the yard is across town, the 24-hour rate ($180) gives you breathing room.
Before you go
- Check the yard's collection deadline and what paperwork or ID they need.
- Make sure the car's weight is within the trailer's 3,500 kg GVM — call us if you're unsure.
- Bring wheel straps or tie-downs, and a helper to steer if the car won't run.
- Your tow vehicle must be rated to tow 3,500 kg.

FAQ
Good questions.
Can I carry an unregistered car on the trailer?
Yes — the car is carried as a load, so it doesn't need to be registered. The trailer and your tow vehicle do.
What if the car doesn't run?
The 3,000 kg hand winch pulls it onto the tilted deck. Have someone in the car to steer and work the brakes.
What can I tow it with?
Most utes and 4WDs rated to tow up to 3,500 kg. Check your vehicle's towing capacity before booking — we're happy to help if you're unsure.
Do I need an electric brake controller?
No. The CT177 uses federally approved mechanical cable brakes on every wheel, rated for GVMs up to 3.5 tonnes.
How much does it cost?
$120 for 6 hours, $180 per 24 hours, $700 per week or $2,000 per month. A refundable bond applies.
